Active Adult Wonders of Waco - 2023 Fall REGISTER


The morning will be spent at the HOMESTEAD HERITAGE FARM, a throwback agricultural center that includes historic farming methods and traditional arts and crafts. We will have lunch at the Farm, at the highest rated restaurant in the Waco area. The afternoon will begin with a stop at the DR PEPPER MUSEUM, where we will see displays devoted to that wonderful Texas soft drink.  The afternoon will wind up with a visit to the MAGNOLIA SILOS, the stores and grounds of the popular Chip and Joanna Gaines couple. Arrival back at approximately 7:30 p.m., based on traffic.

TOUR PACKAGE INCLUDES:

  • - Historical commentary
  • - Lunch at Cafe Homestead
  • - Drinks and snacks on the coach.

Yoga - 2023 Fall REGISTER


Come join us this Summer to learn to go with the flow and breathe to build strength and confidence, on and off the mat! Certified Instructor Stephanie Kimball combines creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness, and a dose of inspiration into every class. You'll leave feeling refreshed, nourished, and balanced.

September: 4 classes, $48 for the month or $15 drop in

October: 4 classes, $48 for the month or $15 drop in

November: 3 classes, $36 for the month or $15 drop in (no class Nov. 22 or 29th)

Cost Information: $12 per class when registering for the session; $15 to drop-in to one class

Chair Yoga - 2023 Fall REGISTER


Chair yoga is great for those with limited mobility, vertigo, or those who have a sedentary lifestyle. Chair Yoga allows the yoga instructor to adapt postures making it accessible to everyone. A chair practice incorporates all of the tools of a regular yoga class such as deep breathing, postures and relaxation. The student receives the same benefits as a mat class without the difficulty of getting on the floor.

Try Chair Yoga to:

  1. - Better and deepen your breathing
  2. - Reduce stress and anxiety
  3. - Improve strength
  4. - Increase flexibility and range of motion
  5. - Improve circulation and blood pressure

Bowling for Adults 55+ REGISTER


Prosper bowlers have fun, meet new people, get exercise and share laughter every Tuesday! This easy-going group is not a league, so there are no dues, obligations, penalties, competition or teams. Come once or weekly; we cheer on bowlers of all skill levels! Whether you bowl an 85 or a 185, you’re invited!

Date Information: Tuesdays at 1 p.m.
Cost Information: $12 per week due at the door. This covers three games and shoes. Only pay for the weeks you play.

Active Adult Activites - 2023 Summer REGISTER


We have set times each week dedicated to our Active Adults. These activities are free and year round. Come join the fun and meet fellow Active Adults! Those of all skill levels are welcome. 

Dominoes is held every Tuesday 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

Canasta is held every Thursday 1-4 p.m.

Social Time - bring your own game, book, knit, or just socialize - is held every Friday 1-4 p.m.

NO NEED TO REGISTER FOR THESE ACTIVITIES SIMPLY SHOW UP!

Activities will be moved to Town Hall's Community Room starting Tuesday, May 30th and return back the The 407 Rec Center Tuesday, August 8th.
